Room was spotless, well designed, and had great amenities. Staff was attentive on check-in and check-out. And the hotel is in the heart of the town…perfect location. Roof top bar/patio was such a nice bonus. Ate dinner at the Ox&Anchor…wonderful meal. Look forward to a future stay.

My second time staying here. This is a near-perfect small hotel. Located right in the middle of SLO's wonderfully walkable downtown. My room was very large, with a very generous patio. Excellent shower, excellent bed. The place has the feel of a good place o work, a nice vibe. Restaurant is top-notch, especially for a hotel restaurant. One very small complaint. And this is for all hotel designers everywhere: Leave the lights alone. Use normal switches with rheostats. Don't make me study the instant I enter the room.

Hotel is close to everything. Room is very spacious and has a mountain view. Lobby bar is lively and makes good cocktails. Self-parking in the garage is convenient right across from the hotel at $8 per night. we enjoyed our stay.

The location was great for access to downtown SLO and the rooms are spacious. Nice amenities such as robes, slippers, water and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. One suggestion is to avoid room facing the pool. There’s some area not in the hotel that seems to play music most of the day and you can hear it.
