"I was traveling with my elderly mother for a family funeral. So, we were very pleasantly surprised by this property. It was clean and very quiet. No slamming doors or shouts of “housekeeping!” Check in was effortless and breakfast was a bonus. We had no complaints."

"The lady that checked us in wasn’t friendly. I was going to ask if they had anything on the first floor and before I got it all the way out of my mouth It was like she knew what I was gonna say and hurried, and answered no. There was no elevators. Yes it is only two stories but when you have multiple suitcases, stairs are hard."

"I am baffled by the great reviews on White House Suites. We did not like this hotel at all. When we drove up, a homeless person was throwing up in the shrubbery outside the hotel. There is a strange sweet smell in the hotel like they are trying to cover up a bad smell. The man who checked us in could barely speak English. In the room, there are only blinds to cover the window, so the light from outside shines in at night, making it difficult to sleep. Whomever was in the room above us, was walking very loudly and, at times it seemed as if they were also jumping rope. The toilet paper was very thin and they don’t provide Kleenex. The furnishings aren’t much to look at and don’t give you a sense of calm and relaxation. I had an unsettled feeling in this hotel and wasn’t sure of my safety. The hotel appeared clean but felt dirty, if that makes any sense. The pros were that the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We will never stay at this hotel again. "

"Horrifying. The front door is plastered with signs basically telling you to go f yourself if you even try to check in. They will leave you standing in the rain, you can't open the office door yourself. Dilapidated is an understatement. The bathroom sink was cracked in half and barely hanging on, the shower was peeling and filthy, the doorknob just hanging loose in the hole. There were speckles of most likely dried blood on the sheets. The many signs warning you not to smoke crack in the rooms tell a harrowing tale. I think I need a tetanus booster now. "

"The breakfast bar was decent. The choice of bacon could be much much better. Perhaps having a different option when staying more than 1 night would be nice. More fruit and cereal options would have been nice too. "
