"We are the perfect example of, "there was no room at the inn" when we came in to inquire about one room that was remaining last weekend during the Art Fair in Madison. We talked with Traci at the front desk who informed us that the room that was online had just been booked. She went above and beyond to help us try to find alternative lodging and she was absolutely wonderful. We decided to go to dinner and drive home, when a room became available here. Wonderful place, but even better service thanks to Traci!"

"Hillside Inn was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was very nice with a beautiful view of the city. All of the staff that I interacted with were lovely and very helpful. The overall building could use some maintenance. Would absolutely stay again."

"Very nice place - clean but not 5 star clean. All nice materials and furnishings. Very unique with the old work and slanted floors. We would recommend the stay. Only negatives were obvious signs of rushed cleaning (Bathroom) and listed fees. $30 to check in 2 hours early and $200 if you checkout past 11am - pretty steep."
