"By the time after our long drive ans check in around 1030pm. We find the exit door was open and no way to locked it. The exit door is inside our room at the main floor and exit to outside. We don't feel safe and call for help. The owner arrived in a decent time and tried to fix it. Yes we delay our sleeping time eapecially my kid but in general, we appreciate for the owner come by to fit it. Nearby ia a very nice seaview with supermarket. The room is spacious with a fridge. The bedding are good and comfy. One thing needs to improve is the toilet amenities, no shampoo and only 5 bottles of conditioner but they all look like used before."

"We stayed at Hotel KEF the night before leaving the country. Be advised there is not an airport shuttle but the staff will arrange transportation upon request. There were a few broken items in our bathroom, the shower heard holder and a light switch. We arrived early as we were moving between locations, they have a place for luggage storage but if want or need your room sooner than the 3pm check in, there’s a charge (20 Euro/Hr). While the spa is not included in the price, I highly recommend taking advantage of it, spectacular. Restaurant on-site serves delicious food. It’s a beautiful hotel, polite staff that are proud of their facility. If you need to stay in Keflavik, I recommend seriously considering this hotel."

"Nice and clean hotel. Ideally located 7 minutes drive from the airport and facing small marina. Excellent restaurant although expensive ( but most restaurants are expensive in Iceland). Breakfast though is a good deal ( 19US$). Very copious and varied ( boiled egg, fruit salad, smoked salmon, skir yogourt with fruits, bread and croissants). Well worth the price. Small heated pool. Nice lobby area. Spacious rooms and big bathroom with walk-in shower. Friendly staff."

"Perfect for a basic overnight layover. I'd stay again. The taxi driver didn't know about the free shuttle part though, so we paid full price for the ride. I did message the hotel to give them our information to arrange the shuttle/taxi before the trip started but the hotel said to just call the taxi. So one small hitch, but a good stay overall."
