"Property is located on old US Air Force Base and close to airport. Only stayed one night. Had dinner in their Cafe and it was good. Prices comparable to other area eateries, plus they did give a discount to guests staying on property. Rooms were a good size. There also is a morning shuttle to the airport if needed."

The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.
Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me."
"We love the convenience of walking from the airport terminal to the hotel at night. When our flight landed. The area was well lit and the hotel had a 24 hour reception. The room itself was clean and nicely appointed. We are only there for one night and had to get on our ring road trip in the morning. The breakfast in the morning was also quite sumptuous. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone before or after their flight into Iceland."
