"This property is in a great location for the historic colonial area of Santo Domingo. We had a rental car and had no problem finding parking the 3 days for our visit. The hotel is right on the pedestrian walkway. The room was great and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was great too every morning."

"Great hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not like that they had a wedding in the main area. Could not come or go without having to walk right through the middle of the wedding ceremony and they need to have ironing board and iron in the rooms."

"The hotel is literally emblematic, just the history alone makes the stay worth it. All the staff was very friendly, the location couldn’t be better, just keep in mind the guy who built the city, this was he’s house!! The whole zona colonial was very safe and fun many attractions to see. The hotel has a DJ in the pool area for chill not too loud afternoons. Everything about this hotel was amazing. I’ve traveled around the world and this is definitely in my top 10 hotels."

Most of the staff were super nice and helpful; I only had some issues with the check with the initial receptionist who kept getting upset with me for irrelevant things but it seems she was upset that I knew Spanish and was confronting her for her attitude... other than that the general staff was amazing, rooms were clean and tidy.
