This is beautiful historic property, extremely well maintained and preserved. It’s like traveling back in time with all the comfort and luxuries of the contemporary times. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning and the staff is the best. Always smiling, ready to help and they make your stay very pleasant. The location is idyllic, in the very heart of the Colonial Zone, close to everything and great restaurants. I will recommend this hotel with my eyes closed and in a heartbeat. Looking forward for my next visit.

The hotel is literally emblematic, just the history alone makes the stay worth it. All the staff was very friendly, the location couldn’t be better, just keep in mind the guy who built the city, this was he’s house!! The whole zona colonial was very safe and fun many attractions to see. The hotel has a DJ in the pool area for chill not too loud afternoons. Everything about this hotel was amazing. I’ve traveled around the world and this is definitely in my top 10 hotels.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. I highly recommend staying at this historic hotel when visiting Santo Domingo. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and they offer free parking, which is hard to find in a central location. I think the rooms should be upgraded. While our room was attractive, the toilet and sink were outdated, and the toilet had a crack in the neck. The toilet seat was also too small for the toilet. Additionally, the air conditioner needs to be updated. I notice the unit does not go below some specific temperature. It’s quite noisy early in the morning, and you can hear people talking outside the hall door, likely because of inadequate door seals. Otherwise, I will recommend it.
