"Wasn’t expecting a 500CHF deposit at check in… but I understand. Would’ve been nice to know before showing up. Also, there was construction work going on just outside so there wasn’t much sleeping in. There was cleaning staff each day so that was nice and unexpected for an apartment stay. "This is a lovely small hotel and restaurant run by a lovely couple. The setting is like something out of a story book. From our room we could hear the soothing sound of the fountain and the church bells ringing from the nearby bell tower. The bed was comfy. There is a nice breakfast in the morning for hotel guests. Horgen is a quaint and quiet little town. You can easily purchase tickets to Horgen from the airport and train station. So getting there is no problem. We took the ferry boat back...
