"This is a very beautiful home, clean, modern, perfectly comfortable. Host is very kind and attentive. Location is farther from La Fortuna but closer to all the hot springs, waterfall and places to explore. Uber was helpful to get here and get around. Peaceful environment full of beauty. "The pool area has a gorgeous view looking out at the mountain and cows in a field. The rooms were nice and clean. Good breakfast selection, wish they had more juices. You do need to make breakfast reserve in advance. Multiple private jacuzzis and pools. Would stay again. "

"Expedia has asked me to review this hotel. I made a reservation at this hotel, but the hotel did not have a room. The hotel notified Expedia, but Expedia advertised the room anyway and charged me for it. This is the same day a car I had reserved with Expedia with Hertz was absent when I arrived to rent it. Expedia has not remedied either situation. The callous indifference of Expedia evident in their absent customer service is disappointing but no longer surprising to me. As I could not trust a...

"The apartment we stayed in was very clean and the staff were helpful and courteous. The pool was lovely. The locatiin was great, very central and clise to restaurants, grocery store and shops. A quick uber ride to the hot springs. I woukd highly recommend Villas Fortuna Boutique Hotel."

"Room was beautiful, view was beautiful, gardens were beautiful. Love this hotel. The springs were lovely. This location is perfect, whether you want to use the hotel's springs or visit one of the other big complexes like Baldi or Paradise, which are a couple of mins walk away! The staff were lovely, shout-out to Julio, who was a star - kind and helpful. <3 As a lone traveller, it was great, but it would be a lovely stay for families too. Hope to return someday. :)"

"Our stay at Calalun was perfect. Calalun was in the perfect location, was private surrounded by gorgeous landscape and a beautiful view of the volcano. The owners were very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable and perfect. The bed was comfortable and the quaint apartment was clean and modern. We had everything we needed and would recommend. The only suggestion would be to light up the Calalun sign a bit more or make it stand out from the road. The kitchen had all the necessities...

"Clean room and good free breakfast each morning, always with fruits and a choice of 4 Costa Rican breakfasts. Great location (close to many restaurants) and lovely view of the volcanoe from the upstairs balcony. Darts and games and a lounge area were appreciated. Very friendly staff. The fridge was noisy in the room overnight. "
