"The hotel was a convenient stop over location for our trip. Usual budget hotel. Check in was easy. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very bland. The one reason I won't return is the electric car charging facilites for the hotel (operated by Monta Charge). The price was £0.90 per kWh. That is more than any motorway charge point and much more than other Monta hotel charging points I have used before. I would have charged before arriving had I known about this Monta rip off."

"Great hotel, I went stayed here with my wife when we went to the Embers festival. Lovely place to stay, parking fine and enjoyed the meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was really good and the staff were all wonderful. I would definitely stay here again"

"Everything was as it should be clean room friendly staff close to shops Only issue was breakfast They had a big group of a lacrosse team and staff one part of the brekfast area was reserved for the lacrosse team so seating was a issue We ended up seated in the bar erea due to no seats and was told other area was reserved for the team Cups had run out and was given take away cup instead And milk Was dissatisfaction with breakfast with a few people that could not find seating If there was not going to be enough seating for everyone then i think breakfast should be staggered so all guests can be seated "

"Lovely location and views of the Severn from the front of the property. Staff were lovely and helpful. The wifi was patchy so the tv was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but very nice when it arrived."

"Nice hotel just needs ripped wallpaper replaced ,hallways looked shabby.Room just ok, no wardrobe just a hook on a very squeaky bathroom door.Wasnt told our room key also unlocked main front door so was locked out for 10 minutes at 11.45pm.Staff nice & breakfast very tasty .Gardens also nice"

"The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy."
