"A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place; 5 minutes walk along the River Severn to Ironbridge is like being in a dreamworld on a summer’s evening. The attentiveness from the staff was fantastic and the restaurant food was superb, especially in the evenings. A great place for anyone to stay and explore Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge."

"Excellent location with the River Severn outside my window. Very pleasant walks in the evening. Comfortable and well appointed room with very good shower. Staff were so helpful. I'd paid for b&b but had to leave before breakfast was served, so they made me a simple but nutritious packed lunch. Dinner was good - especially the lamb chops with so many tasty little accompaniments. Would be very happy to stay again."

"Extremely good stay at The Shakespeare Inn, Coalport. Hotel rooms were immaculate with daily housekeeping and lots of little extras to make you feel at home. On the Thursday we dined in the restaurant where we decided to sit outside so we could enjoy our food with a view. Really beautiful place, nice and quiet, will definitely return!"

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location was excellent, even though there are 120 steps to get upto the apartment. But the views are well worth it. We chose the location for the history in the town and to be close to the Severn Valley Railway. The apartment was well equipped, with everything you needed. One thing I would suggest and that is to have more hanging facilities for clothes in the bedrooms. It was fine for 3 nights, but if you were there longer, you would need somewhere to put your clothes. Also, the shower stand would not hold properly, but still manage to have a shower, but had to hold up the shower head. Apart from that it was excellent. Lots to see and do in the area and Ironbridge itself was a lovely town with very friendly people."
