"Accomodation was super clean and well presented. The private courtyard was very sheltered and sitting in the hottub in the evening was very peaceful. Great communication as well from the host. Recommended!"

"The location to central Exeter city centre"

"The staff so helpful"

"We travelled as a couple with our dog. From arrival all staff were very friendly and welcoming and explained local walks (with a map) that we could do with our dog. The room was exceptionally well kept and clean with lovely finishes. We had a balcony looking out over lush gardens and we could hear the river flowing which was beautiful. "Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. "Arrived and allocated room and put all our luggage in room only to be treated by bathroom being flooded from above. This should have been checked prior to check in. We were allocated a new room but no compensation for the hassle caused after a long day of travel."

"Great rooms, all new and well equipped. Would have been good to know where to go for breakfast etc upon check in as I had to ask the following day. Great location for the M5."

"Lots of parking at the rear of the pub. Food was amazing & choice of drinks. Our room was lovely. Good size, bed was amazing and en-suite with bath. The inn had a lot of character. Very quiet village so we spent the evening in the pub with other couples staying at the Inn."

"It could be a great hotel but feels rather soulless"
