Stayed here many times, great food and drink. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff are brilliant!
Highly recommended, looking forward to my next stay at the Lamb Inn!
I’ve stayed here before, hence why I’ve stayed again. The rooms are nice and clean, staff are great. The food and drink is amazing, I’d definitely recommend if in the area.
Delightful Tudor pub with 7 bedrooms in a quiet village. Tis was a perfect stopover and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the main pub area in the morning. Will definitely come back and recommend.
Keith (I think was his name) the manager was immensely welcoming and helpful, as were all the other staff. Fantastic and spotless room and loved the rainfall shower. Overall fantastic!
The Reception and the service we had was excellent The Food menu had great quality and choices including Gluten free Menu available.
The Bar served Gluten free on draft beers. The whole experience we found was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere

Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again!

A gem!
Room only. It’s a pub with rooms. But here’s the kicker…. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The pub is friendly and bustling and the food is truly excellent. 20/30 mins outside Exeter. Staff were so welcoming and very helpful. Will be coming back. (Probably with the dogs as they l love dogs here and have their very own doggie food menu (treats! V cute!). Lots of room info for lovely walks for dogs (and their hoomans!)
Check in through the pub. Nice friendly welcome, expected us, shown to room annexed to the pub. Quite spacious room with TV, tea/coffee, very clean room, on suite was small but adequate. Asked if we wanted continental breakfast which we did, paid extra and it was very nice and plentiful. Went back in to the pub bar for dinner, limited menu, only served until 19.30 but that was fine and suited us. Parking is tricky as the pub doesn’t have a car park but you might be lucky and be able to park outside the pub. Lovely quiet area, very rural outside the village.
We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and informative.
