"Enjoyed our stay. We were only there for a layover before our cruise so we didn’t really use the amenities other than the fitness room (had all that I needed to get a good full body weight workout done), and the Algortherm Spa (we had a couples massage -well done-and used the steam room there. The resort needs a little bit of a makeover. Honestly, if they just spruced up all the hallways that are brown/off-white with some brighter colors, I think that would do wonders. "The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. They held our bags when we arrived at 6 am, and we went on a safari until it was time for check in. I also did laundry and the staff helped me with the washer. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a fridge and nice hot shower. Very convenient to the ferry and tons of shopping."

Pour ce qui est de notre chambre, déception totale. Si l’hôtel a été rénové, ils ont oublié les chambres. Je dirais garder du vieux avec du neuf. De plus , pas de frigo, une seul carte pour la porte, 2 oreillers seulement. Pour le prix payé, chambre 2.5/5 ."

"We booked a quick stop just to shower and cool off in the air conditioning between our ferry ride from Mo’orea and our red eye flight out of Tahiti. Thank goodness we didn’t have to stay the night! First off, Expedia mentioned that there was a free shuttle to the airport but when we got there the lady said there was no such thing and we would need to call a cab. "Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"Cleanliness could be better. There was black hair clinging to the bathroom wall and the shower wasn’t really clean. The bedroom is very simple, it is one room partitioned off from an apartment. You can hear the other tenants use the toilet and move around/talk clearly. Not really sure why there are such good reviews, especially as value for money does not match. Breakfast was very good!"

"The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. "Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."

"We loved this lodge! It has an incredible view from the balcony. We had the entire upstairs available to us, but only needed one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom & the use of the kettle & refrigerator. We had all we needed & more! The owner is very nice & she took great care of us while we were there. Highly recommend the TeMana Lodge!"
