"First room smelled like cigarette smoke and there was a cigarette burn on the bedding. Front desk staff were very helpful, upgraded us to a ‘better’ room. New room had 2 queen beds instead of 2 double, but smelled of mildew and a loud clicking sound (pipes?) all night from the walls. Very basic, don’t expect much except a bed (bring ear plugs) and a shower."

"The property is amazing, beautiful and clean, front desk staff and house keeping staff were great. The dining room has great food and great prices.
One bad experience was all the soccer kids, the running around, the knocking on the doors started usually at 7:30 am and again all evening from 7 pm to about 11:15 pm. This was Fri, Sat & Sun, I continued to call front desk to complain but got to the point of going in the hallway to tell the kids to settle down.
I dont mind the running around, but...

"everything and they still won't send me a copy of my invoice for the stay and they did not return the deposit to me. They also did this last year when we stayed there so it seems like a scam giving them a "deposit" that they say you get back upon departure but they never intend to at all. As I took my dog out for a walk in the morning, there was a homeless person coming out of the main lobby bathroom and wandering the halls when I came back in the building."

"The hotel needs major upgrades as it is in very poor condition
It looks like they have spent zero dollars on maintenance
The carpets have large folds and rips and have been repaired with red tape in a number of areas
Our bathtub had gross stains and chips in it, so bad my wife refused to use it
Many areas need redo, surprised this is still a hampton inn
The pool and hottub was nice, as was the breakfast area, and the breakfast was fine as well"

"The last day of our stay our room never got cleaned, or beds made. Kleenex box was empty and toilet paper roll was almost done. The simply left 4 towels on the bathroom vanity, and took the empty bottles that were on the counter we used to refill water for our day trips, and that was all. We were also missing a cell charger cord from the middle of our stay. The block was still in the wall but cord was missing. We have unpacked our vehicle and luggage since the stay and it was not there."
