"The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. The general condition of the hotel is not good, the corridors are grotty and the floor is uneven. The staff are hit n miss, the cleaning ladies were friendly enough the night shift staff were completely incompetent, and don't expect room service, I had to order in a pizza!! "First time I have stayed here but it certainly won’t be the last. Situated in a lovely setting everything was perfect. Staff welcoming and friendly, food was outstanding and the rooms were immaculate. I would certainly recommend this lovely pub. "
