"I have a 3-5 on service. All the staff that I interacted with were very helpful and professional. However, the housekeeping was not good. I was only there for 2 days. On the first day, my room was not cleaned, despite housekeeping being right outside the room when I left for the day. On the second day, the room was cleaned but the amenities (tea, coffee, etc.) were not replenished. Clearly no quality checks by the housekeeping management."

"Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 "

"The Village Inn is in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking, easy and quick check in and able to book a table for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a too firm for our liking but that was a minor detail. Dinner was delicious and great value. Good choices for breakfast - we had cereal, juice, poached egg on toast and tea. Service was great. Our visit was really good value."

It was spotless, the bathroom was spacious and had both a bath and a shower and there was a kettle to make tea or coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was an overall lovely experience. "I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "
