"We loved this hotel. We had an awesome room with view of Hollywood sign and king beds. The hotel was very clean. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. The restaurants for both breakfast and happy hour were very good. Great location as you can go through the hotel to get to the outside mall and access to chinese theater and other tourist stuff. We for sure stay here again."

"Beware the room is clean amd ok for you to get thru the nite. Lobby area looks like the year i was born and I am 40 plus they really can invest in a better seating area. The ride on thier shuttle is $10.00 per person and you better pay it . And when you check out they charge $5.00 ,per piece of luggage to hold which is insane. I could not wait to check out the next morning. Staff is great but hotel charge will rapes your pockets"

"I would like to formally express my concerns regarding my recent stay. Overall, my experience was fair, and this rating is generous considering the overall condition of the hotel. There were a few positive aspects of my stay. I appreciated the breakfast offerings, and I would also like to acknowledge the housekeeping staff for their kindness and professionalism when they returned to address concerns in my room. They were accommodating and courteous. However, several issues significantly impacted my comfort and sense of safety during my stay. First, I was disappointed by the unexpected $69 per night parking charge, which was not clearly communicated beforehand and added substantial unexpected costs to my visit. Additionally, the overall condition and upkeep of the hotel appeared outdated and poorly maintained. There was peeling glue and exposed uncapped areas around the sink that appeared brown and unsanitary. The headboard contained visible stains, which housekeeping later addressed after I reported the issue. The furniture throughout the room also had multiple stains to the point that I did not feel comfortable sitting on it. Most concerning was the balcony door lock. It felt extremely flimsy and insecure, as though it could easily be opened with enough force. This made me feel unsafe throughout my stay and raised serious concerns regarding guest security. Overall, the hotel felt old, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable."

"The pool is unmatched. Tremendous view of the hotel. But this pool is one of the few left at a hotel that truly has a deep end, about 13 feet. Numerous grand palm trees are everywhere. Nothing more Hollywood than this spot."

"This is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. No issues there. There were a couple things I didn’t like about my stay here though. For some reason the lobby floor has a strong perfume smell which made my stomach turn. The pool was very far away from our room. The restaurant has an amazing view but it was very expensive for what came on the plate. And overall I wish the Westin honored the beauty of this property a little bit more. It feels like all decisions made are based on the idea of what can we spend the least on and charge the most for. This hotel is one of the most beautiful architecturally in all of LA but the Westin has taken away from that by trying to make a buck."
