"Parking was costly at $50, didnt match the price in the garage. Room was a queen, small space but serves the purpose for one night. Plenty of food in the area. "

"The room was very clean. There is no refrigerator. I had left overs from dinner but no where to put them. There appeared to be a small refrigerator but it was not cold. I asked the clerk, she said it was a "cooling drawer" but it wasn't cool. I told her that, she didn't have much to say. There is also no microwave in the room to warm food if there were leftovers. The room was quite small, very little vanity top space but it is in downtown. The neighbor Italian restaurant was magnificent for dinner. Breakfast to order was marginal, food wasn't served very warm. Had the buffet the next day but the food wasn't very warm either. Coffee was barely warm both days. During check in, I was first told no rooms were ready at 3 pm. We sat in the lobby, saw another woman walk up and check in. My wife decided to try to check in and the other clerk gave her a room. Elevators were very slow. Plan on 10 minutes or more to travel the elevator. Location was very convenient to many amenities. "

"The hotel looks very nice at first glance, but is in need of updates and maintenance. The first room they assigned us reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked for a new room and then the AC did not work at all in the second room. It just kept recirculating warm/muggy air. Thankfully we were visiting in April; it would have been unbearable in the summer. We decided to deal with it since we were only there for one night and at least it didn’t smell like we were sleeping in an ashtray. The “destination fee” amenities are not up-to-date and all we got out of it was a small lukewarm coffee and a sad pastry. Location was ok, price was nice, but the stay was miserable. I recommend looking elsewhere. "

"Coffee maker in the room did not work. The shower handle came off. Towels were old and ready with trailing strings. Nice closet, no hangers. Well, it wasn't absolutely horrendous, I don't see myself staying here again. My last experience with Expedia, and a nearby neighborhood, was much better at about the same price"

"We stayed for 3 nights, and after the 2nd night, the cleaning staff failed to clean our room, despite our having remined the front desk when we were going out in the early afternoon that we wanted cleaning service. They said they would call cleaning right away. This happened the last time we stayed here in January. Cleaning staff never cleaned our room despite my stopping by one of the staff on my way our for the day and letting them know I would be out of the room for about 5 hours."

"Breakfast was fine, staff was excellent. No onsite Parking was the biggest issue for me. Luckily I found street parking each night of my stay"
