"First, spring for the harbour view. Some of the other rooms may have film over half the windows. Breakfast was delicious and Joseph was a wonderful server. In the Que(bar) I highly recommend asking for Rebecka - so very cheerful and willing to accommodate your requests. Also, the concierge Mira was wonderful - both before and during our stay. Tea was a little bit of a let down. We were not informed we needed to arrive on the hour. The facilities such as the pool and hot tub were amazing. Overall the Empress is lovely.1"

We came in back door as that was the image seen in ad and had two sets of stairs up and one down with all our luggage. Once checked in since we were on first floor we once again had to go up 2 sets of stairs with our luggage. The room was great, breakfast was amazing"
