"We had the Newbury room and it was very comfortable and spacious. Very tasteful and thoughtfully designed. The grounds are lovely. The bidet toilets were next level! The location is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - about 10 min walk to the ocean.
About 10-15 mins by car to downtown Victoria. The restaurant is super busy every night (!) so didn’t manage to try it, so make sure you book in advance. Lovely boutique hotel! "

"Dashwood is a wonderful B & B in a historical building. The building itself has a lot of heritage charm, and so does the room I stayed in. There was a partial ocean view in the spacious, comfortable room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a nice tv, period furniture, a small fridge, a desk, and a bathroom with lots of hot water and a comfy tub! "If you want a really unique stay in Victoria, Hotel Zed is it! It's only a 25 minute walk from downtown Victoria and has tons of great dining options within walking distance.
The King room was clean and straight out of the 70's - a cute velvet green sofa, lounge chair, small dining table and mini fridge. I loved the green "stained glass" wall divider/closet.
The pool, hot tub and sauna were all great, and the waterslide was a fun bonus!

"We had a wonderful stay at the Strathcona. It’s clean, recently renovated, and the staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The location is perfect — you can easily walk to Government Street, the Legislature, the Inner Harbour, and Chinatown. There are fantastic restaurants all around. This was our second stay since moving away, and it’s now our go-to whenever we’re back in Victoria."
