"Our first room was filthy- the ‘cleaning rag’ was even left in the bathroom which turned out to be a dirty pillow case. Was moved to a different room and was told we would have that room for the remainder of our stay. However, was told the next morning we had to move and was left without a room for the day until after 3pm. The put up bed for my 7 year old was not in the room. Took us telling reception 3 times and it was eventually brought to the room at 8:30pm. Very outdated rooms and not as expected. Breakfast also not worth the money. Reception staff unhelpful."

"Wonderful location with just a couple minute walk to Russell Square Station (Picadilly Line). The room was clean and a decent size for London. Breakfast buffet was delicious and good value. Just be careful with the shower flooding because the water pressure was too much to handle all at once for the drain. There is luggage storage which is great but was annoyed that I had to take out and toss my sealed water bottle I just bought out of my backpack pocket in order to store."

"I believed that the cleaning took too long and had to request that cleaning start after three days. the television was not working properly and would cut off and the screen would go blank during a program. breakfast was excellent with respect to choice and the speed of service. Staff were also very attentive and friendly."

"Great location, near a vibrant street market with lots of options for tasty food & drink. Less crowded and a 5 minute walk from Farringdon Station. Room was comfy, small and quiet. Breakfasts were buffet style with hot options, all served hot and refilled often. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Good value for the price!"

"Great location but that’s about it. Dirty towels, extremely small room, sink backed up, one roll of toilet paper, AC not working. Wouldn’t recommend staying. Ended up booking a new property the same day we arrived and eating the cost of both hotels to get out of there."
