"A lovely, atmospheric place very conveniently located to the train station and other sites. Several nooks for curling up with a book if you desire. My room on the top floor was gorgeous and a decent size. Depending which room, you may have to navigate stairs, but that was no issue for me. The huge bathtub was heaven for me, as I prefer baths to shower. Someone else might not like that. "An ideal hotel for visiting London. Great location: centrally located in the City. A couple of minutes from the Thames and a great river walk, to the Tower in one direction and to Westminster in the other. Wonderful staff: knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, proactive, and caring. "The AC system was not working in our first room and we had to downgrade to get a smaller room that had AC. Heat wave in London did not help. Interesting that front desk person was located in a sister hotel across the street, so had to wait for them to come over to check in and then check out."
