"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. "Classic pub with hotel rooms above the main dining and bar area. You can find similar style hotels all over England. Very good food, well executed and delicious! Comfortable bed, historic feel, kind local staff. "

"We had room 17- a review of this room last September was awful. If accurate it has now been improved as it was comfortable and we had no issues with it. All staff were very good - friendly and efficient.Breakfast was excellent. Ample parking at front of property . Grassy area at back alongside the river with sitting area was very nice.
