"I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. "Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "Lovely golf course and breakfast was great but slow. Room was very dated and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. Very outdated and an old TV so couldn't even put on Netflix and relax."

"Our room was beautiful with a lovely Juliet balcony over looking the gardens. The room was spotless and the toiletries were super useful. The staff were really helpful, especially at breakfast when I could not decide what to have! We regret not bringing swim/gym wear to use the gum and swimming facilities."

"We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one...

"My initial impression wasn’t great. The hotel part was really in need of a good lick of paint and a new carpet. That said, it is a very old building so some allowances should be made. The bed in the room was very comfortable with fresh white linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was tiny but modern and clean. The staff was nice and very welcoming of my little dog. The bar is stylishly decorated in keeping with its age but with a modern edge. As a solo traveller I didn’t fancy staying up late...
