"The lift was broken so the service lift was the only option. However the landing areas were 'behind the scenes' and poor quality. I did not much care for the long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower from a previous guest. Clearly not a good cleaning regime. The shower has my pet hate. The shower controls are behind the door. You can't use them without being inside it and it is too small to avoid getting the inevitable blast of cold water that is living in the pipes before whatever...

"An excellent hotel that is very clean and very well located. It has its own underground car park which is great for overnight parking. While the hotel does not have gym and swimming, but if you want a good night’s sleep then it’s definitely better then your premier inn / travelodge. "The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. "Clean hotel with a good location. Friendly staff. Only a couple small complaints. Handle on window was broken so couldn't open it so that led to a hot and unventilated room which wasn't the most pleasant. Also the bed had a mattress topper on it, which both me and my partner had aches and pains due to.. maybe just invest in new mattresses instead of trying to cover the issues. Only minor issues that for what we paid we can't complain really but just minor things would make a big difference!"
