"We used to stay here frequently before Covid, it's since changed owners & reviews have been very mixed. We were greeted on arrival & shown to our room. The room was clean, had the usual tea/coffee amenities and a good sized tv. There was an end suite shower room which was clean & had soap & shower gel. There was no hand towel so we had to dry our hands on the bath towels. There were plenty of plug sockets in our room and the WiFi was excellent. The Marine Parade is very close to the sea front and bars, pubs, restaurants. There is paid parking on the roads but it gets filled up quickly. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the Marine Parade Hotel. Little things could be improved, ie, a second screw to secure the loo roll holder, the shower head is too close to the corner, the only storage was a little frame with a few hangers, a chest of drawers instead of the table with the kettle etc on would have been useful. For the price we paid we really can't complain & we would certainly consider staying here again."

"An excellent establishment where have stayed many times. As with all hospitality businesses there are occasional issues however, they are dealt with correctly as and when they do occur."

"The room was disgusting, wall papper hanging of ceiling and walls, also stained with what looks like water marks, cobwebs round the windows and what has to be the most uncomfortable bed with only 1 pillow each which was lumpy and as hard as concrete, paint peeling off the walls, and drafty is an understatement, the windows are as rotton as hell, the place needs a co.plete refurbishment offthewalls, 1pullow each"
