Beautiful stay

It was a lovely stay. The owner of the hotel was very nice when we arrived and checked us in. The room was clean and welcoming and comfortable. It was quiet and we had a lovely sea view which was amazing, beautiful. Overall a lovely stay and we will return.

Love this hotel

I love this hotel. Friendly and feels safe. Only down side this time was my toilet and shower was across the hall, through some doors and at the bottom of the stairs. I was provided with a robe and it really wasn't as much of an issue as I first imagined.

Plesant Stay!

A plesant stay in a good location next to the sea. Very clean and well looked after. Didn't bother us but the shower was in the room but a room divider offered some modesty!

The property is ideally situated on the seafront, a short distance from railway station. The room we had was beautifully decorated and equipped, with a good en- suit shower room. Excellent view of the sea. The only slight negative, was there was quite a lot of noise from the road outside, however this wouldn't put me off staying again !

The stay was great, the hotel was in a great spot with great views of the sea, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious, light and very clean.

Bank and Bistro 3 night stay

Our stay at the Bank and Bistro was good, quick and easy check in and lovely staff, Room was clean and had everything we needed. We found the mattress was slightly uncomfortable but I would definitely stay there again.

An excellent night's stay

We had an excellent stay at the Bank Hotel, our room was spotless with a fantastic sea view. The bed was huge and we had a great nights sleep, despite being on the main road there was no noise. The location of the hotel was also perfect, a few minutes walk downhill from the station and close to some great bars and restaurants. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, I'll definitely be staying again.

Bright and spacious with aea view

Seafront location on busy road, so some people will prefer rear rooms. Bright and spacious room (4) with decent shower etc and a table and chairs. Parking is a challenge, but ok durng check-in period. Ideal for our short break.

The rooms were pleasant, great features having a bathroom in a former bank vault, however the mattress was poor as you could hear and feel the springs when you moved, and the bathroom extractor fan dropped dust. The breakfast in the bistro was fabulous and service was great. It was excellent value all in all.

Worth it

Perfect for us, right on the water. A bit hot/stuffy (due to surrounding rooms radiators) but easily fixed by opening windows to get fresh sea breeze. Def would stay again, lady down stairs was helpful & their breakfast menu is amazing!!

Great value

Lovely room, boutique feel. Bed was huge and some great original features of the room retained and good location. Warm welcome on arrival. The downside was after booking i found that we had to check in by 530pm and there was no one on site after this time. Wouldn't put me off booking again though

The hotel was lovely. The room was very clean and on the sea front. The only issue we had was the bed was terrible, spring were noisy every time you moved an inch!! Such a shame as we got no sleep at all. We didn't mind the noise outside but the bed made the night so long and un comfortable.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Good full English breakfast. Warm room (use of a fan if required) with all tea & coffee making facilities, working TV, comfortable bed & clean linen. Had a single room with no en-suite facility, however, had use of bathroom, only a few seconds walk from room which was not available to any other guests & was given my own key, bathrobe provided, good pressure, hot shower. Also a lovely sea view.

It is very central good location. Check before you book advertisement is missleading. I booked room 8 which state's 1queen bed and single room. When i arrived i as asked to pay a further £45:00 total of £279.00. The mattress is old no support whatsoever made a complaint she didn't seemed bothered!
