Clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Adequate breakfast. Good location in terms of walking down to the seafront. Would note for travellers with accessibility issues the hotel is at the top of a very steep road so may not be suitable for mobility aid users.

Easy to find and ample parking. 77Warm welcome from Ron. Room size good, basic. Beds comfy. Coffee/tea etc. TV. Large window with view of the gardens. Breakfast was as you'd expect, with choice of hot food. Served promptly. Freshly cooked and hot. Location convenient for the town and beach.

What a gem! Me and my friend came to stay and had a lovely visit. Owner and staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Room was light, airy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is a stones throw from the town. We will visit again. Thank you

On the whole our stay was a very pleasant experience. Our room was light airy and cool in the heatwave. The beds clean and comfortable. Decent shower/ bath. Not sure if the small towel in the bathroom was a hand towel or bathmat. The only disappointment was the very basic breakfast, just flake or some round cereal. No muesli, yoghurt, and NO fruit. Bananas are the cheapest fruit going. The cooked breakfast, made to order was good . Nice to have use of the large garden. Few minutes walk to the sea with pasing buses to take you back up the hill

Arrived quite late but was met with a very friendly welcome, was shown where everything was and allocated our room, popped Down to the bar which was good, prices ok, room was clean but we had a broken side table and no chair, comfy bed, bathroom was spotless. parking was good, breakfast was excellent and overall would definitely go back and would recommend.

The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great.

Comfortable room (better than I expected for the price), very clean throughout, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Outside garden was rather unkempt and decking and woodwork needs attention. Interior refurbishment was being carried out with no disturbance to residents. Broken bathroom fan had been noted and was repaired on day two. Filipino chef excellent with a variety of unusual but excellent dishes on the menu - do try some! Car parking space is a bonus. Yes, I will stay there again, despite the steep hill back from the Marina!

Hotel has very basic facilitates and certainly needs refreshes on certain things. However everything worked in my room. The location is great -- few minutes walk from the St Leonards train station. There were a couple of very friendly male receptionists who help a lot with everything. And very kind cleaning personal.
