Originally a 1940s retreat turned classic 1950s roadside motel, you can feel the history the moment you arrive, but it’s still clean, comfortable, and beautifully updated. Peaceful, perfectly located, and full of character, this has become my go-to stay. I book it every time I’m in the area ❤️

We stayed in a room with multiple beds, which worked out great for us. We especially loved the balcony—it was a nice bonus. The sound insulation between rooms was impressive too; we didn’t hear the neighboring occupants at all. The hot tub was at the perfect temperature, and my little kids really enjoyed it at night. The only downside was the breakfast selection. They offered cereal, oatmeal packets, fruit, some pastries, and yogurt. We came down around 9:30am, and there were barely any pastries left, even though breakfast is served until 10:30.
