"There were unreasonable charges for things like not turning in your keys. The property does not appear to have been updated since it's construction and the rooms smelled of smoke. Most importantly some wires plugged into the walls had scorch marks on them and looked like despite the electrical hazard they had been left there a long time."

"Always good to stay at Cow Lake. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Cabin could use an update and add a few amenities to the room like shampoo, body wash, and better hand soap for the bathroom, an initial supply of coffee & coffee filters. The General store has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and TV was great. Lots of space. Our pups were very comfortable. Nice quiet spot if you are looking for a friendly place to hang out. "

"We never stayed there. They wouldn't let us because my I.D was expired. They said they had to contact Expedia in order to check if had paid for insurance before I could have a refund. I still haven't received the refund. The I.D. is definitely mine. You would never question that it was me in the photo . I also had a birth certificate that had all the same info as the I.D but they refused to even look at it. They were not very helpful."

"I was here for a conference. The food was excellent. My room was comfortable. They charge $14 per day which is unacceptable given the fact I paid over $700 for two nights. The fire alarm went off twice one night. The hotel offered no apology or explanation. When I checked out, I asked if they could honor the conference rate we were given. Because I booked through Expedia, they said there was nothing they could do. They did refund my parking. I suppose that was their apology for the fire alarm? I...
