"Rooms were clean and in good repair. But step out onto the balcony and it's like time forgot it. There were old bird droppings and old dusty cobwebs all along the rail. It wasn't that big of a problem, just a bit unpleasant to look at. Beyond that, it was a very good stay."

"What an unexpected surprise! We were traveling to visit family in Oakland with two adults and two 6 1/2-year-olds. Our double queen size room was huge and the pullout sofa even made it even better. The separated toilet was so helpful. The room was on the ground floor and our patio door opened up to a beautiful view of San Francisco Bay. The kids could run around on the grass outside and blow bubbles! The staff was outstanding. Not just cheerful, but also made sure we got everything we needed....
