The staff was friendly, but the brochures need to be updated with the correct pricing, also it would be nice to know that they don’t provide certain spa services when you’re the only one asking for it. If I had know that and that the restaurants were closed most of the time, I probably would’ve gone where it was more consistent."

"* Room was in good size and clean. * You need to bring your own cup because they don't provide any cup. * Check in was not convenient. This property doesn't have front desk. We contacted the property several days before arrival. They sent us the keypad codes for entrances. But one of the entrance code doesn't work. After contact them through the email they provided on the wall and waited for a while somebody came and opened door for us and gave us the correct code."

"This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato."

"Ladesäule auf dem Gelände ist natürlich super. Lage an sich auch gut. Alles andere hat nicht im Ansatz 4 Sterne verdient. Alles ist alt, Wände teilweise brüchig und kaputt, bis auf neue Kommoden und Fernseher, ist nichts auf dem Neusten Stand. Das Wlan hat nur in der Lobby funktioniert, im Zimmer gar nicht. Für 4 Sterne und den Preis pro Nacht, sind wir richtig enttäuscht worden."

"The best thing about this hotel is the view from the rooftop bar. The restaurant has virtually no vegetarian options so we could not dine and enjoy the view. The rooms are extremely dated and in urgent need of basic upgrades, There was only 1 power socket that took a standard Euro plug. All the others only accepted the older narrow 2 pin plugs."

"Für eine Nacht nach der Fährüberfahrt war es ok, mehr würde ich nicht empfehlen. Meines Erachtens keine 4 Sterne wert. Das gebuchte 4 Bett Zimmer, hatte nur 3 Schlafmöglichkeiten (dies wurde aber zügig von 2 netten Herren des Housekeeping behoben). Die Parkmöglichkeiten im Hotel waren ausgeschöpft, als musste das vollgepackte Auto auf der Straße geparkt werden. Im Bad muss man direkt am undichten Fenster duschen, dies war kalt und unschön.
