"This is a mountain lodge - rustic conditions outside, but you'll find a very comfy bed on the inside. Stayed in the hotel and had two twin beds with comforters. I am hot-blooded so the Comforter was a bit much for me, but my wife was cold with one, so she asked for another. Shower was excellent and powerful! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was a Nordic continental. Cured Fish, Cold Cuts/Cheese, H.B.Eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, home baked bread and jams, etc. Healthy and it will keep...

Rent og pent på rommene. Gode senger. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Hotellet ligger ut mot en liten fjordarm av Sognefjorden. Lærdal er vakkert og bør sees. Like greit å bo her om du skal gå Kongevegen eller skal videre inn til Aurland, Flåm, Sogndal mm."
"Historisk hotell i sveitserstil. Fikk et av de største rommene i romantisk stil med balkong og utsikt mot vann og fjell. Sengene var gode, romslig bad med god plass til toalettsaker. Litteratur på rommet « tips om hva gjøre lokalt og med bil innen en time». Rommet var rent. Restauranten hadde nydelig lokal mat. Vertskapet introduserte middagen med hva vi fikk å spise samt historien om hotellets opprinnelse og utvikling. Beliggenheten, helt ypperlig blant fjord og fjell."

"Not having used camp sites before, we were not sure what to expect. We had a room with a view of the spectacular Sognefjord on a beautiful day. The room had a nice balcony, was quite roomy, the common shower area was clean, as were the bathrooms. Well priced. "
