"No air conditioning, staff wasn’t knowledgeable about local restaurants, 10 lb charge for early check in, another person that was staying there ate dinner at about 5:00 pm and he left his silverware and a mess on the table and no staff person cleaned it up till the following morning. I wouldn’t stay there again"

"We stayed for a short weekend in Norfolk, decided on this stunning hotel. Was welcomed nicely in by the reception desk staff, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Woke up to a lovely breakfast buffet both mornings. The golf course was impressive to see, even though we don’t play it ourselves. "We are so happy we decided to give the Coach House a try. Everything was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent - so much to choose from, excellent quality and beautifully displayed. I had pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. My husband asked for scrambled eggs on toast as it wasn’t on the menu and it was no problem for the very helpful staff. We will definitely return. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. "The location of The Cliff is a perfect base from which to go sightseeing around Norfolk. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We visited during a very hot spell of weather and our room had two fans, which were essential."
