"It’s snowing when we’re here. The view from the room was picture perfect - snow-covered mountain, trees, and stream bank. The hotel is super clean and comfortable. All amenities are available. The room is spacious for two. The private onsen is good. The late night ramen was very good. The Japanese breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The shuttle service between the hotel and Shirakawago bus station is available and convenient. We would love to stay again."
"Very good location, just 5-minute walk to Old town. Super nice and great service-minded staff, especially Ms. Eriko, the landlady. All needed amenities are provided. We enjoy delicious food with pleasant food decoration. Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan is the only place we will stay every time we visit Takayama."
"Hotel is around 3 km from Takayama station. The hotel shuttle bus service is one hour interval, more convenient to take a taxi. Hotel reception can speak good english. Hotel is considered 5 stars. Great breakfast, great room, great atmostphere."
