Room was clean and a good size for hotels in Japan. Restaurant served great dinners and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing around Kanazawa.

This hotel was great for location as it’s central to all of the places we wanted to visit. The bath house on the top floor was so nice to have after the long days of walking. The rooms were great for space and also comfort.

We loved our stay at the Mitsui Garden Kanazawa. Our room had a great view of rhe mountain and it was well equipped. We especially loved the public baths on the top floor with a great view while you relax from a long day of activities. The hotel is in a great location with all tourist sites within walking distance. Having the washer dryer was very convenient but I wish there were more than 2, both were busy when we tried to do a wash and had to wait

The nice pictures from the hotel are setting expectation far from the reality. Basic room, basic bedding, no service at all. Washing machine never available. There is much better option around for similar prices. The bath/onsen at last floor of the building isn't balancing the poor experience at Mitsui hotel. Staff remain super friendly and helpful.
