"Title: Disappointing experience with zero service — not worth the price
I rarely leave reviews, but after staying at 5 different hotels during this trip to Japan, this was the only one that felt truly disappointing.
We stayed here for two nights, and there was absolutely no housekeeping service. We had to tie up our own garbage bags and leave them outside the door, and do the same with our used bath towels just to get fresh ones. It felt like there was zero service provided. On top of that, if you need an iron, you have to go down to the lobby to borrow it and return it immediately after use, which is very inconvenient.
When booking, I accidentally missed adding my 15-year-old daughter. They charged us an extra 20,000 JPY for the two nights to upgrade us to a "family room," but in reality, they just added an extra bed. The room itself had no highlights whatsoever—the layout and design were extremely basic and ordinary.
Compared to apartment hotels, this place falls way short. I previously stayed at Hotel Monday Apart in Ueno, and the living experience there was vastly superior to this hotel. I would not recommend staying here."
