"Terrific staff"

"Unit was inexpensive and value for money. The hotel is kept very neat and clean, and the mattresses are very comfortable. Showers and bathrooms are cleaned regularly and kept in good shape. It isn't that central for touring for Osaka, but not too far out of the way. "

"Quick check-in and they were very lenient with our check-in time. Ability to leave our bags at the hotel on the last day between our check out time and flight was a nice amenity. The futons were not very comfortable."

"Location was convenient and close to transportation, shopping and food. Lack of elevator made it hard to move heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The dish sponge in our room had hair on it and we saw a cockroach in our room the first night. "

"We were first greeted by Miao the cat at the front desk, and had a lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had its own sink with hot water. Our floor had a kitchen and the building had an elevator. Sometimes Miao came up the elevator with me and sat in the kitchen. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"I was a little shocked to discover it was a love hotel after I had checked in. It was clean and safe and I would probably stay there again. It was a little strange to begin with for a foreigner but like I said, clean and safe. What more could you ask for at that price "

"Everything was great. Shower had a traditional japanese bath and shower setup with a sink just outside to wash in the morning. Several nearby shops for dinner and breakfast and the Tengachaya station is about 10 minute walk and can get you to the Namba area in maybe 20 mins. There are 4 futon beds and a couch on the first floor. The stairs up are about half my foot size so watch out when walking downstairs, and if you're 6ft also on the way up because i hit my head on the ceiling once haha....

"The Ryokan was well maintained and we were pleased with the facilities overall. Two things to keep in mind: 1) the rooms are cleaned once every two days, so don't expect sheets to be changed every day. They do change the towels, at least, but it was never clear to us whether we had to take out our own garbage (we did it because it was still there after two days). 2) hotel staff don't seem to be present. "Staff is extremely friendly. Room is spacious with a nice little balcony but they only provided one bottle of water during my 5 nights stay."
