"Great! My friends and I all agreed that AKARI Higashiyama Nijo had provided everything we needed for a great stay in Kyoto! Convenient location, close to stations and bus stops, and Fresco (we bought eggs, toasts and fruits to make breakfast, and the apartment is equipped with a kitchen). Walking distance to Pontocho alley, nishiki market etc. AKARI Higashiyama Nijo is a fairly new establishment, everything is sooo clean. "This hotel was great! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Kyoto. It was a 5 minute walk from the train station and there was a bus stop directly across the street. Furthermore, the staff were incredible and the hotel was always clean. It felt amazing coming back to the hotel after a long day sightseeing or shopping. The entry way smelled great and the complimentary drinks were a nice perk. "
