"Good service. Clean room on arrival but no effort to clean during stay. Just clean towels left. Dinner good but limited menu. Breakfast excellent. Lots of choice and good quality. Didnt like coffee in flask. It became bitter over time. On arrival there was a beautiful birthday cake for my partner"

"Fab hotel with really friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice. An old building with wonky floors, which can’t be helped. Really comfy bed and good shower. WiFi could do with an upgrade as it’s a little slow and the rooms could do with a few minor paint touch ups but overall great value for money."

The property is spotless, beautifully designed and we loved the concept of “doing nothing” - sitting in one of the cosy common areas with books, puzzles and vinyl players. The team did seem slightly understaffed at times, but hopefully just teething issues and it didn’t affect our stay. "

"The shower was leaking water in 4 places and difficult to operate. Water ended up going everywhere. The shower was extremely high to step up into. My other coworkers commented on this for their rooms too. The room was never cleaned or freshened up in a Mon- Fri stay. They kept asking for tips at the bar even for one drink?"
