"This was a lovely place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated as was the en-suite which was modern and stylish. There was no road noise and black out curtains ensured the room was dark. The proprietor was friendly as well as incredibly helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many options available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"This hotel is ok. I stayed in one of the suites which was quite nice . I would have appreciated a small fridge which is fairly standard in most hotels. I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned during my stay . I stayed for two nights. The WiFi was not good in my room. Breakfast was fine but I had a pizza for lunch. This was distinctly average. Suspect the base was shop bought and who puts cress on a pepperoni pizza. Very odd. At check out I was given the option of leaving a tip. Very odd...

"The hotel is just ok, it worked for us for a friends weekend away but I doubt we will go back. The staff are very rules focused which makes you feel less of a valued guest and more of an inconvenience. But it worked as a place to stay and ok if you are on a budget."

"On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "

"Arrival and check in was all good, restaurant was good great food. We stayed with a wedding party, so we had quite a few rooms. I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories. "Staff helpful, room well used and a couple of lights out in the bathroom, but blackout curtains worked and the bed was reasonably comfortable, so a good night’s sleep was had for fifty quid."
