"It was a lovely stay at Avonlea Guest House. Our host was delightful, nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts were great, lovely porridge! Good proximity to Banbury and the surrounding cute villages."

I have stayed a couple of times and I genuinely like the hotel and the staff, but I believe the hotel should not operate during very hot days if adequate cooling is not provided."

"An old coaching inn with a history of highwaymen this was a good stay for us for two nights. We had a family room with two bedrooms and shared bathroom, each with its own double bed and television. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The Hotel also provided fans in the room as there was no air-conditioning. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold. The restaurant was busy and we managed to book at the last minute. Location was handy for a number of local attractions within 30...

It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed.
