"We had a lovely stay at Cuckoo Cottage and would happily return. The location is excellent for exploring the Peak District, with beautiful walks straight from the doorstep, including Lathkill Dale. "What a lovely place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We parked up the car at the back of the pub and left it there for two days because everything you need is right there. We did a great walk from the pub and bought essentials from the little shop at the campsite opposite. The food at the pub was great . I highly recommend."

"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed. The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though"
