Great place for a quick stay when heading out the next day on our flight home. Couple restaurants within walking distance. Rooms quiet, clean, basic. We appreciated getting into our room early as we were weary from travelling. The setup for an early morning taxi was also appreciated. Would recommend without hesitation.

Very convenient to the Florence airport (30 minute easy walk). Friendly staff. The bathroom smelled awful (like sewer, even after spraying freshener), the A/C didn’t work for the entire building and it was hot and humid because of the rain. Opened the window but didn’t help with the humidity, plus it’s a noisy area so couldn’t sleep with all the traffic noise.

Disappointing....

Disappointing to find no restaurant facilities at this premises. I walked next door to the Novotel for a nice evening meal. The room was not cleaned to a good standard. Coffee stains from previous guest on bedside tables. Breakfast at best, average. My advice is book the Novotel next door. Only slightly dearer and the rooms are much cleaner!

Early morning blues

We booked this hotel as we had an early morning flight from Firenze airport and this hotel was classed as an airport hotel. We had to take a taxi as there is no airport shuttle provided and the cost of this for a 7 minute journey ended up costing 40 Euros. Hotel was nice, clean and had the facillities needed but unless there is an airport shuttle provided kn the future I would most likely opt against staying here if we needed a place to stay before an early morning flight again.

The property served is ok for 1 night. As an airport hotel it was not helpful that they didnt provide any shuttle servces. Mainly fornthis reason id stay at a different property. The aircon didnt work properly and that made the room very hot. Otherwise, it was ok, the bed was fine and i slept ok.

One member of the staff was helpful. That is the only good thing. If you have an early flight and think you’re doing yourself a favour by staying at this airport hotel, you are wrong. Novotel has a free shuttle. This place does not. After spending €30 for a 10min ride from the city to the hotel, front desk advises the only way to get to the airport at 4am is a taxi, which turned out to be another €30 5-min ride. The TV does not work but for one channel. The front desk lady advises to arrange a taxi in advance but the front desk guy advises to wing it at 4am. I arranged it in advance. No car there at 4am and I asked the guy to call again and he wouldn’t do it. After a few words he gave in but this is not the service I expect. If I were to do this all over again, I’d just stay in the city or book a later flight out or Novotel. P.S. the taxi service did not have a taxi sign and came with an extra “wife” in the front seat for a 4am fare.

The beds were inadequate to say the least…. The carpets in room were stained and not maintained…there was no AC in the room for our stay and they would not change our room….. ice was unavailable….it was 78-80 degrees thru our stay….. We are cancelling our room for our next visit

My stay at Ibis Firenze Nord Aeroporto was disappointing. The room felt very outdated, and the breakfast was below average with limited options. I’ve had consistently good experiences at other Ibis hotels across Europe, so this property fell short of the standard I expected.

Even though it was an airport hotel, it is by very busy motorways. You can't take public transport and have to rely on very expensive taxi. A 6mins cab ride to the airport was €33. Astronomical!!!

We received an email from the hotel before our stay telling us to simply reply to the email with any questions we may have. We did reply, with a few questions and never heard from them. Second, we couldn't find any parking spaces available around the hotel so we parked in the garage below the hotel. We had a 6:30 am flight and so at 5am we were trying to exit the garage using a machine at the exit. We were not told ahead of time how to do that, and despite our many efforts were not able to exit the garage. We finally found a hotel staff member at that hour, and she told us what to do, but it did not work. We found her again and she said she would push a button and we would be able to exit. This also did not work in the beginning but it finally did work, but this was also a negative experience. Third, we were told there would be coffee available at that early hour, but it was not available.
