The property is ideally located surrounded by locally sourced shops, cafes, bakeries, eatery's. Charming area if you want both charm and city experience. Walkable to Hongik subway station. The only negative is we weren't able to receive Wifi signal from our room and the only way to connect was if we went downstairs to the common area. I see that we had a router inside our room, but the signal was weak so no Wifi inside the room. The staff who was of Thai origin was very nice and pleasant. Overall, it was a good stay.

Check in was smooth and fuss free, our room was prepared before the check in time which we appreciate. However, the sheets and pillow covers were of questionable cleanliness, we found a few stains on them. Also, the floor was mouldy and sticky. The toilet was average but it is a half shower where the shower head and sink tap shared the same water pipe. The lift also made alot of noise while opening and closing, going up and down which can be a little noisy at night. The location is also average, quite a walk from the subway station and the only convenience store down the street near the main road is a small one.

All was great ! Small but clean room with everything. Only problem, the lock on the door was falling apart on the inside, so we felt locked in until we could reassemble it.

Great location in a student quarter with plenty of bars and restaurants and close to buzzy Hongdae street. Yet a calm and safe neighborhood. Check-in was easy and room cards could be picked up without staff. Rooms were smaller than it seems on the pictures and there was permanent moisture, thus a moldy smell too. Cleanliness was below average. The lobby toilet was dirty and remained the same for minimum 2 days without having been cleaned. Though it had all the amenities you would need: free washing machine and dryer, iron, repellent, unlimited towels etc.

Very Airbnb like with self check in and no staff at a front desk. Overall it was a good place but had a few issues. Not a fan of the whole shower being in the same area as the toilet and everything else in the bathroom. Never could get the tv in the room to work. Also had issues with the laundry especially the dryer as it would just shut off even though there was still time left on the dryer and my clothes were still damp. Tried putting them in again and the machine just shuts off automatically. Also it is in Korean there are some English instructions but it seems more complex the U.S. based laundry machines. Overall was decent and affordable stay other then those issues.

I would not book this place even as a budget friendly guesthouse. There are definitely plenty of other cheap options around this area which provide more than here. Rooms are very small, even smaller than what is shown in photos which already look really small. Hardly anywhere to move around in even in a standard twin room. Bathroom situation is even tighter, it’s clear this place does not care about providing guests comfort, rather they want to maximise profit by squeezing as many people into tight spaces. Spare amenities are lying on the stairs which create a hazard for everyone. Beds are uncomfortable to sleep on, mattresses are hard as a rock. We even found stains when we flipped our blankets over. Laundry is a hassle because it takes a much longer time for the process to be completed compared to other guesthouses I have stayed at. The washing machine on the fourth floor was broken. The dryer on the third floor is broken and doesn’t spin. The dryer that does work does not dry clothes properly and found our clothes still damp after putting it through. The only positive thing about this place is that I can leave it to go explore Hongdae and the rest of Seoul. Save your money to spend on better hotels/guesthouses than this.

Location was convenient, about 5min from Hongik Uni Stn Exit 3 and on a quiet street away from the traffic. Guesthouse has many useful amenities, like pantry area for cooking and meal prep, hot/cold water dispenser, lift etc. After self check-in, I found the room to be clean and cosy. Initially, my friend and I had some issues with the room WiFi but it was promptly addressed by the staff once we contacted them. Free washer and dryer access was a huge plus for us. For late autumn/early winter weather, we found the central heating to be comfortable. Loved the stay and would consider rebooking again if I visit Seoul :)

First of all, we were put in a room much smaller than advertised on the page. The room for 4 was about half the size of the pictured 4 person room on the listing. Additionally, in the middle of our stay, we highly suspect that the owner or someone with our room key entered the room without informing or asking us. The ceiling tile is very hard to move, and after a day out, we noticed that it was misplaced. Moving the tile is very loud, so one of my group members would have definitely noticed if we moved it. The owner blamed the movement on wind and denied any claims of entering our room while we were gone, but let’s be real, no wind is moving a 15 pound ceiling tile. Also, the condition of the property is terrible. The walls are peeling, the ceiling rims are peeling and the bunk bed ladders are wobbly. The fact that this place has earned 9.0 on Expedia is mind blowing to me. There’s not even desk reception, so good luck complaining to someone unless you get a messaging app. Save your money and stay elsewhere, this place is suspicious.

以前常訂.但這次預訂大家住的不滿意.因為房間沒有打掃乾淨,還有殘留上一位住客的頭髮在地上..WI-FI每一間都 連不上.和之前住起來差蠻多的,可能之後要再住有困難.會想選別間,雖然在延南洞地點很好.但房務的乾淨度可能要再改進了.謝謝
