Very cool guesthouse in one of the hill-y neighborhoods of Seoul. I had a one night, solo stay. I was able to walk from Seoul Station to the guesthouse in about 25 minutes and was greeted on arrival and shown around the property. The host was very friendly. My room was comfortable and I had a bathroom to myself. The bathroom was detached from the bedroom. It was nice to stay in a more residential area after having stayed in more "touristy" areas of Seoul during my trip. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

So the room is very clean itself. And the common area is clean. The front entry way and outside areas are dirty and there are lots of cobwebs. The ladies who run the guesthouse are pleasant. The bathroom for 201 is not attached; it is private but you must walk through the common area to get to it. The subway is about a 10-15 min walk. Not walkable to Seoul tower like I thought it would be. I mean it is, if you want to walk 40-45 min one way. You need to arrange timing with the ladies for arrival. Overall I’d stay there again, but other areas are better if you’re a tourist.

A warm and premium traditionally built Guest house

My mun,sister and i have a very pleasant stay at Jiwoljang guest house.Hanna,hanna's mother and Nacy are very nice and friendly.Beds are very comfortable ,room is very clean and tidy,size is much bigger than those hotels' rooms in city.Location is great,just 10 minutes walk from Sookmyung women university station which is very close to tourist area like myeungdong ,you can even see Seoul Tower is just behing their Guest house area when you look up the hill. We enjoy our stay so much and took lots of pictures around their traditional guest house. Hanna and mama also drop us off at the nearest airport bus station ,extremely premium service since our flight schedule has changed and woke them up so early in the.morning. I highly recommend Jiwoljang guesthouse , i feel like home even i am in Seoul.

풍경 조용함 침구 컨디션또한 너무 좋았고 수압 빵빵해요ㅋㅋ 사장님 너무 친절하시고 다정하셨어요! 한가지 아주 조금 아쉬운건 보수공사중이라는거.. 공사끝난 지월장의 모습이 궁금해서 또 방문하고 싶습니다..!

방안은 깨끗했는데 화장실에서 암모니아냄새가 도저히 사용할수가 없을정도로 심한편이구 집주변 계단이나 테라스같은곳은 청소가 전혀 안되어서 사진과는 사뭇 다른 느낌.

Comfortable Place To Stay

It is the best Hotel Around the Area if you like Hiking and Going to Namsan Seoul Tower, It is really Close and Comfortable guest house. Granma and Her Daughter greeted me properly and helped me out until I checked out. They are Really Nice ! I will definitely comeback soon ! Julianne

후기가 늦었네요! 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 너무 즐거운 경험이었습니다. 1인 숙소를 예약했는데 에어컨이 없다고 옆방으로 바꿔주시고, 화장실도 혼자 썼구요! 저녁에 와플도 구워주셔서 재미있게 얘기도 나눴습니다 :) 서울역, 용산역, 명동 가기에 편리한 위치에 있습니다. 독방 가격이 아주 좋고 호스트분들이 정말 친절하기 때문에 추천드립니다.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. The guest house is clean, quiet, and has charm and character. It's also relatively close to Seoul station (15-20 minutes walk) and also a reasonable walk to Namsan Park and Huan Market. I really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay again.
