"Staff were polite and welcoming. The lady at the desk in the dining room took time to walk around checking guests were OK. I gave an overall 4- star because my request for late check-out wasn't effected and I had to go back to reception to get it implemented. "

"The room was very clean And quite spotless. The bed was serviceable pillows slightly hard. The décor wasn't to my taste. The desk was slightly unstable. A small Gap in the wood flooring. The shower but leaked everywhere. Room was quite cold despite heating Good stuff, experience and great location for layover needs. "

"We had reason to request to move room and the staff were very accommodating and looked after us well - top marks for that. The evening dinner (pie of the day) was actually unexpectedly excellent and the accompanying veggies were nice and crisp - very enjoyable. The only minor quibble was that due to TV mounting it was next to impossible to get a HDMI stick plugged in (something maybe to check into). Anyhow, all in all, nicely situated and a nice place to stay at and all the staff we encountered...

"The majority of golfers arrive for the day and do not stay overnight. The result being after 9pm, the lodge is very quiet. For some that will be a like or dislike. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay with no complaints. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly."

"Was supposed to have breakfast. It indicated that on weekends it’s until 10. this was a bank holiday but at 9:30 it was closed and no one there. Wet towel left in the room behind the door. "
