Lovely

Staff are key in any business and all at this establishment were fantastic. Attentive but not overpowering, helpful and friendly. Food was very nice indeed, freshly cooked ad piping hot. Rooms are well maintained with beds being some of the most comfirtable i sleep in. My business neans i stay away a lot, this hotel will be added to my list of frequent stays. Well priced for the area

Such a great place to stay, lovely location; staff the most helpful and friendliest I’ve been around for such a long time and the best part was being serenaded by the chef, from the kitchen when working whilst we waited for food, a really happy place. The cleaners were happy and friendly too. As for the food, just beautiful and so reasonably priced, don’t miss the breakfast, excellent.

Clean & tidy pub with excellent rooms. Large room with double bed and shower room. Good dining in large restaurant and excellent breakfast. Would recommend the food. Staff attentive and fairly polite. Only criticism and its small, is dont serve tea in vacuum jugs at breakfast. Had to ask for tea in a teapot, which duly arrived hot and fresh. Nil points for Saturday night singing Cat 🙀

Other than the noise from the road & the Cat that was on the hot tin roof Screeching for hours, OH, or was she trying to sing? We had a fantastic stay thank you. Thankfully having air conditioning, we could drown the Cat. Lunch & breakfast excellent. All staff excellent. THANK YOU.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. We tried the Porky Hash which was huge! We would definitely recommend a stay here... we will be back

What a lovely hotel and superb pub!

We were so impressed with anything from the service at the restaurant, the food, friendly staff to how well kept the interior is. Breakfast was amazing. The price with breakfast included impressively reasonable.
