"Do not be fooled, this is, AT BEST, a lower tier hostel accommodation. It is extremely affordable, but you will end up paying for that in travel costs to and from the city, airport, port, etc. there is no tram service nearby. Additionally, the room was much smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the bed was not large enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. The staff was extremely kind and were the bright spot of experience. If you are looking for bare minimum and the cheapest possible...

"Convenient location on the main street in Burntisland. Around 5-6 minute walk from the train station. The train into the Edinburgh Waverly Station, center Edinburgh, departs every 20-25, minutes and takes around 30 minutes into Edinburgh. My room was large, with a large screen TV, Hot water kettle. No mini fridge. No elevator. My room faced the backyard so it was quiet. The window opened a little to let in fresh air."

"Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. "We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. "The stay at Kinross Travel Lodge was as I would have expected it to be, helpful staff, Basic rooms but comfy, finding a place for breakfast was an issue. Lovely walk round Loch Leven. "

"Goed en rustig gelegen hotel met ruime parking. Ruime kamers en goede bedden. Ontbijt was maar magertjes, wegens het ontbreken van een assortiment van broodjes en bvb. stokbrood. Onderhoud kan ook beter: glasplaat op nachtkastje was nog vuil, plastiek dopje en paprikachips onder het bed, lippenstift op de tas bij het ontbijt. Kamers zijn gedateerd."

"Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues.
